Throughput Optimizer
Throughput is a performance criterion which is used to evaluate network products. Throughput Optimizer technology is designed to provide the optimal throughput in all AXIMCom solutions.

The peer will send data once it receives ACK

 No Throughput Optimization:
When upload is fully occupied, ACK is delayed
Download stops until the peer receives ACK
TCP/IP Assumption about Throughput
TCP/IP is designed based on the strong assumption that upload and download speeds are the same (symmetric). Due to this assumption, when the upload bandwidth is fully occupied, download bandwidth is usually limited to the same throughput level. For example, the download-to-upload ratio of an 8M/640Kbps ADSL line is 12-to-1.
Then based on TCP/IP assumptions and limitations, when upload throughput (640Kbps) is fully used, download throughput will be limited to 640Kbps as well. In this situation, 92% of download bandwidth is sitting idle.

AXIMCom's Throughput Optimization:
ACK obtains high priority to use the bandwidth
Download continues even when upload is fully
    occupied

What Throughput Optimizer Achieves
AXIMCom’s Throughput Optimizer technology overcomes the above TCP/IP limitation and optimizes the download throughput according to the users’ broadband subscription. In the above scenario and environment of 8M/640Kbps, users can enjoy the entire 8M download bandwidth even when the upload bandwidth is fully occupied. Therefore, with AXIMCom's Throughput Optimizer technology, there will be no more wastage of the bandwidth purchased!

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
